The Hamad General Hospital is a public medical facility providing excellent care, also in Doha. The Al Khor Hospital, the main hospital facility in the North of the country, can also be quoted. In the event of serious sickness or injury, an air evacuation to another country is necessary.

In large cities, numerous pharmacies can be found. As a result, basic medicines, as well as more specific treatments, are easily accessible in Qatar. But if you intend to travel in remote places, it is essential that you bring your own medical supplies.
