We offer Virtual Cold Sore Assessments for individuals seeking advice and treatment for cold sores.

This virtual consultation ensures a thorough evaluation by our medical team via a secure video call, accessible from your computer or mobile device.

If the assessment indicates that treatment is needed, we will provide a prescription and send it directly to your nearest pharmacy.

The cost is $40. Check with your insurance to see if it’s covered, as the cost of the virtual assessment may be reimbursed by benefits providers.

Please note: This service is not suitable for individuals with the following conditions:

• Pregnancy or breastfeeding
• Under 12 years old
• Immunosuppression (including taking immunomodulatory therapy)
• Presence of signs and symptoms of secondary bacterial infection (e.g., very swollen lesions containing puss)
• Lesions presenting for more than 72 hours
• Known renal insufficiency without creatinine clearance results from the last 3 months
