The Clinique du Voyageur du Grand Montréal focuses on pre-travel consultations, offering our clients information and services to best prepare them for their trips abroad. Our consultations are provided by a nurse specialized in preventative travel health. Our nurses provide our clients with travel health information, vaccine and presription recommendations and the necessary precautions to take while abroad. All of which is provided during a personalized consultation appointment upon the same visit.
Our nursing staff evaluates the client’s risks and recommendations on a case by case basis, taking into account their specifics; their destination, the duration of their trip, planned activities abroad, the season of travel, health alert updates from the government of Canada and their accommodation style. Therefore, the amount of vaccines and prescriptions necessary will vary in regards the type of trip planned.
